Dear Hunters,

Based on my current backlog, I will not be accepting birds during the months of November, December and January of this upcoming season. 

I have made the decision to use this time to work on current work orders that folks are patiently waiting for.  

As a reminder, my studio is set up to offer the best mounts, in any pose, with free habitats and no charge for repairs at the best price in the entire DFW Metroplex.  The majority of my client base has had the unfortunate experience of having paid good money for poor quality and it is why they chose Bird Works for their mount. A fast turnaround time in my shop has always been secondary to top quality at the best price.  With that said, I understand the anticipation (and sometimes frustration) of waiting to get your mount back and I want to thank everyone for their patience in allowing me to produce the best mount possible for their trophy.

Additionally, folks have been asking about new pictures. I am currently in the process of updating the website with fresh, exciting new mounts. 

In the meantime, if you have a bird that you would like to be mounted, please call Master Bird Taxidermist, Chris Brown at Alpine Taxidermy located in Ft. Worth, Texas.  Although I’ve had numerous taxidermists request that I refer them while I am getting caught up, Chris’s quality and attention to detail makes him the only bird taxidermist I would use.  Chris does excellent work and his current turn around time is a very refreshing 6 to 8 months!  Chris can be reached at 817-478-0501.
